They were perfect and shared the responsibility. They get along very well. It's such a nice blessing. It's a great visit to get all of them together. They just play, enjoy the day, share their younger brother, and spend some time together getting caught up on life. Daniel is a great mellow older brother and Lailani is a polite girl who acts her age. It's a nice time when they are all together.
My sweet boys always spending time with mommy. Lailani got to spend time swimming with her dad in the water. It's nice that our blended family knows how to share each other. The children understand how to share their love with other parents as well as other siblings. It's a beautiful thing.
My husband's pride and joy. His younger two children. It's nice to see them get to know each other. She deserves all we can give her. Landon loves her. He gets excited to play with her.
We spent the next weekend at Knotts Berry Farm since she said she had never been there. Off to the amusement park we went...
We hit Ghostown first. Landon didn't want to take pictures of course. We made leather bracelets of each of them. And headed to our first rides.
Into the mineshaft we headed. She sat with Landon most of the day. We may have a blended family, but somehow we make it work.
My pilot! The big kids went to ride roller coasters so he could only ride the camp snoopy rides. Landon didn't complain. We met for dinner. Then headed home.
Of course, while we were waiting for our food Landon wanted to take a picture with the wood carved Grizzly Bear. He's such a silly boy, but I love his innocence and imagination so much.
I had to stop for pastries on our way out. The bakery in Ghostown is so good. Eclair for me, kids always pick a cookie, Lailani has expensive taste she picked chocolate covered strawberries.
She knows what's good. After our desserts we made the long walk back to the car.
Landon and I took one last picture as we watched the character show. We had to say goodbye to Charlie Brown and the gang.
And of course, they always want to go swimming at Grandma's. Her pool is used for grandkids hahahaha. Well, I know when I had a pool, it was never used by me. It was the kids. If not, it was just a nice hole of water lol.
We have had some amazing weekends with football and spending time with our family. Raising a blended family is not the easiest, but with time and love the kids will grow up knowing they are loved.
