My Mother's Day

It's a little late of a post, but it's been a busy week. I've had a wonderfully great week with the children and my husband. I can't complain. Mother's Day started with taking my Mother in Law out to breakfast and an early brunch so she could have the rest of her day to relax. It was perfect to start early. It gave us the time to enjoy the rest of our day.

My mother in law knows me well... Coffee , roses, and pajamas. The sweetest words on the cup and the sweetest words on the card I will cherish forever.

She enjoyed her breakfast and the boys enjoyed their time with grandma. Traditions are important for the boys. Knowing they have a grandma here for them all the time makes them feel loved.

The sun was a little bright for pictures this morning. Landon was not looking at the camera.

I did get a beautiful message from my daughter Alesia. This made my day incredibly special! She's my heart. She knows the truth and she knows how the life truly is for the boys and I. I'm so happy to hear her message and I hold her words deeply in my heart. See you next weekend my sweetheart. You are my heart and always will be. You are my only girl. My only true other half. Mommy loves you so very much. Celebrating your 20th birthday early!

My Mother's Day card from Daniel filled with coupons for free breakfast in bed, free dishwashing, free massages, free kisses, free hugs... I love it! I'll take them all. Especially from a tween boy. A perfect gift for Mother's Day.

It was a simple Mother's Day, I spent it eating, visiting family, shopping, resting, faith was home waiting for me and offered to make dinner, but I wasn't hungry. I'm blessed. I don't need material things. Just the love of the children is enough. I'm blessed with all I have.
